I doubt it's compatible, but you can try it, shouldn't hurt anything and it'll tell you right away if the binaries ain't compatible with the activator.

thanks for the torrent, but how do I MERGE the multiple license so that I can use the store exchange. Everytime I enter the license number the system produce the message"license has already been assigned to a different workstation.

Thank u for your prompt reply. I'm not sure if 'm doing the best way to manage multiple stores here. I installed the QB POS on our Main Branch and another branch. I'm trying to use store exchange feature so that our branch can send their info to our Main branch but I'm having a hard time everytime I synchronize the two pc. Everytime I try to set up the store exchange feature QB pos is asking me for license number for the branch so I just use the same license number for our main but it won't accept it. I know there is a feature that u can merge or sync multiple license in the HELP dropdown. Any help on this one! Thanks

@spook00: The only time I had this problem is when running on Vista. I had to completely disable the Vista firewall before it would connect, no matter if I created exceptions or not. Wouldn't work with firewall on. That's all I know.

Merging License Numbers

Licensing Overview | Managing My License



Multiple copies of Point of Sale on a network in one location share a license number. If you purchased multiple copies of Point of Sale directly from Intuit, you are provided a single license number that includes multiple user licenses.

However, if you purchased additional copies of Point of Sale from a retail store or other source, the additional copies will come with unique license numbers, which must be merged with the existing license number on your Server Workstation within 30 days of installation.

When the new (Client) workstation connects to the company file on the Server Workstation, you are prompted to merge the licenses. On the 31st day, Point of Sale will cease to function on the Client if the licenses have not been merged. Licenses can be merged online or by phone.

To merge license numbers:

From the prompt displayed, select Merge Now.

If you are connected to the Internet, the merge happens automatically online. Select finish when the process is completed to close the merge window.

If you are not connected to the Internet, the phone merge window is displayed. Call the number shown.

Follow the on-screen or phone agent instructions to complete the merge on the Client Workstation.

To complete the merge and make the additional user license available, the Server Workstation must synchronize its license with Intuit?s licensing servers.

If the Server Workstation is connected to the Internet and has previously registered, this is immediate and automatic.

If the Server Workstation is not connected to the Internet or has not yet registered, a prompt to synchronize and/or register will be displayed periodically on the Server Workstation until completed. The synchronization can be done online or by phone.

Notes:

You are encouraged to synchronize your license immediately from the Server Workstation. Once the licenses have been merged, the number of user licenses available for the company file is not updated until synchronization is completed. If you had only one previous license, only one workstation can access the company file at a time until synchronization is completed.

If installing several workstations at one time and they are not connected to the Internet, you might want to get all of them to the point of merging before calling Intuit to complete the merge. Typically, several merges and synchronization of the Server Workstation can be handled with a single call. The phone agent will guide you through this process.

The original license number of the Client Workstation is deactivated after merging. It now shares a license number with the Server Workstation.

@nalabbaga: Been trying all evening but no matter what I do, the workstation crashes after "Checking license" with error "No Error"! Great, so can't reproduce it here to see how exactly to do this, sorry! But you can use any Quickbooks keymaker out there to create more license numbers, just as long as you use the 405-697 product number.

Looked a little more into it and it looks like even though it activates, it still detects that the activation is invalid, although it doesn't say anything (found an error log). So this might actually not ever work, dunno. I'd play it safe and buy the thing, don't want it to crash on a busy day with people trying to check out ;)

I installed on XP.... what are you comp specs. Did u js install and it worked,,, anyway im downloading the torrent form here now.. hope it works..

There are ton's of keymakers for quickbooks, from LZ0 & SSG. They all use the same algorithm, the product number is what matters.

@spook00: When I checked the error log files, it gives a "Preamble expected" during TCP communication with the server. Looks to me like the server denies communication to the workstation because of an encryption issue or something. Like said, I'll check into it when I get time, but that won't happen for a few weeks. In the meantime, I still suggest paying for the thing if you want reliable operation ;)

Thanks Beast, I've downloaded a keygen from LZO, i'm gonna try to se if i get the same error as Nalabagga with the multistore in my home network...
I have two pro licences, but i want to try the multistore capacities to see if it's worth the money to buy an aditional licence for each machine i install in my other stores, or if i use the same licences and deal with the companies like diferent ones, not just different stores.

Anyway, if it works i owe you beast, if it doesn't, then i say thanks anyway for giving all the info and the activator just because you can, jejeje :).

Here's the link for the lzo keygen, it's for quickbooks ES 9, but Beast_ind says they all use the same algorithms, so i guess it should be ok if the product code is valid... i haven't had time to test it in my home network tought, because it's chistmass and we're closing late at the store, but as soon as i'll try it, i'll let you know if i get the same error.

Check to see if the folder where the company file is located in the server is being shared, if it's not, then you should share it and assign the necessary priviledges, there's something on it in the help file.
Also, even if you think your firewalls are disabled, sometimes the antivirus software's firewalls are very tricky and block the network traffic, it would be best not to disable the firewall, but to put it in interactive mode for it to ask you wether or not you want to allow a program to access the network and/or the internet.

I am so impressed, I even registered just now to post some help for those of you that are having problems on the network...as I was having the same problems and with a bit of dumb luck, I got it working flawlessly on our network.

This is my chance to contribute a little...

I will preface with I am NOT an IT or Network expert...that being said...this is the network fix that worked for me, forgive me if it doesn't answer all the questions or situations:

Platform is Windows Server 2003 R2 (Enterprise) with XP Pro Workstations x86.

My IT guy is a security FREAK...so you may or may not have to do what I do, BUT THIS WORKED FLAWLESSLY!!!

Loaded the crack EXACTLY as it said on the server...still showed an error for me in the crack proggy, but closed it with POS still open and it gave me the 30 licenses as promised...

NOW HERE ARE THE THINGS I DID AND IT WORKED...Not sure if I needed to do both, but left it...

1. logged into my Domain Controller as Admin and went to "Active Directory Users and Computers...opened the properties of the computer I loaded the POS Server on and clicked the Delegation Tab...click "Trust this computer for delegation to any service (Kerberos only)"...closed it...

2. Shared the Folder My Company Files were in...Voila WORKS AWESOME...NO ERRORS.

I was having problems getting a workstation to work, so I read the comments and thought I needed an extra license number...I didn't!

However succesfully used the same product key with the new license. Went under help...manage My License>Purchase new License, it asked if Intuit told me it was syched...click okay and it worked fine...THIS STEP IS NOT NECESSARY!!!! BUT WILL WORK...

I simply loaded my other six workstations with the same key and product number in the text file (same as the server keys) and it had me pick the workstation number and is working GREAT on all boxes!!!!

Beast_iND - I have searched high and low for the last 4 days to find a keygen for this software. I installed this on a single computer and it all works great, however when I go and setup additional stores in order to do the data exchange option between the headquarters and the other stores each store has to have its own different license key number. Hopefully someone else has figured out a reliable way of doing this. I've been trying to figure out a way to integrate QBPOS into my website. I tried out the available options for osCommerce, but it really leaves much to be desired. It's fairly obvious that I need to do something using something on par with the built-in website integration provided by Intuit. For obvious reasons, I assume this isn't an option. Any input as to if one of the third-party options will work, or (big stretch here) if Intuit would work with a cracked QBPOS?

Same deal with QB Merchant Services, since I'd like to get rid of my physical CC terminal and run everything through QBPOS. Any ideas or input would be sweet.

I'm trying to run a an patch file on windows server 2003.

But when i do that, the patch file responded with the following:

"Please make sure you have the full access rights to the windows folders"

I am logged in as Administrator so i thought I had all the permissions needed, but apparently i dont.

I've tried running the patch on windows xp on my other computer and it worked. So i am sure the patch file is fine.

So I believe the problem is down to the permission settings on windows Server 2003.

I am a complete newbie on Windows Server 2003 so i have completely no idea how to deal with it. I also believe that the current permission settings are by default since i've never changed any settings.

Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated =)

I have Premier Accountant 2010 (CDN version) and would like to use Cash Register Plus 2010 with it. They don't sseem to have a CDN version yet but it seems to integrate anyways (I tested it from the free trial version). Do you have a licence and product key for Cash Register Plus 2010 yet? I tried POS2009 and was going to use your latest activation patch but 2009 is not supported on a 64 bit system! I am using my laptop with has Vista and a 64 bit OS. Any ideas?

It looks like it goes all the way through to the end and then all of a sudden rolls back... stating "rolling back action" and then says the wizard was interupted... is this because i have windows 7... it is a brand new computer... it used to work on my old computer with xp... Great friends, BlackTroy is a very nice guy. This software works very perfectly. My experience to activate the validation code was a nightmare... Thanks be to God, I have now found the trick to activate the software to full license on both windows xp and windows 7: here it goes, after downloading the software, with a torrent downloader. Locate the file, use winrar to open and extract the setup file and its crack folder to your desktop. Run the installation, using these as: license number:(1983-4149-0578-461) and Product Key: (014-384)
Run the installation to completion..
NOTE: This is where the trick is, so watchout very carefully...... Close all the applications that have/has to do with QuickBooks POS 9. Open the crack folder.... Double click on QBRegCrack.EXE, once it is lunched, click on go, wait for a while.... The instructions dialog windows will open with instructions on what to do next..... PLS, at this point, do not CLOSE any of the two windows of the crack, just go straightaway to your start menu and lunch QuickBooks POS 9.. At this point, disconnect your computer from the internet and proceed by clicking next until you get to the point of activation, click on Phone activation and type in this validation Code:99999930
thats all......
